Alex R. Lumaghi is a graduate of Truman State University where he received his Bachelor’s of Arts in English in 2000. Alex graduated from St. Louis University School of Law in May 2004. While in law school he was a Staff Member of the Saint Louis University Law Journal and an 1843 Scholar. Before joining Dowd & Dowd, P.C. in 2005, Alex began his career at Newman, Bronson & Wallis working on the claims of children injured by the Doe Run Lead Smelter located in Herculaneum Missouri.

Mr. Lumaghi is licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and Southern District of Illinois. Mr. Lumaghi has prepared appellate briefs for both plaintiffs and defendants on a wide range of issues, including before the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Eastern District and the Missouri Supreme Court. Mr. Lumaghi’s practice focuses on appellate law, mass torts, products liability, Civil Rights (including 1983 actions), malicious prosecution/abuse of process litigation and also specializes in summary judgment practice.
